Today, the department's faculty are focused on helping undergraduates receive a firm grounding in economic theory and exposure to problems and techniques that they will likely encounter while working in a business, nonprofit, or government agency. Our faculty also provide students with extensive training in mathematical and statistical techniques.

The faculty's research interests include economic evaluation, economic theory, experimental economics, health policy and applied microeconometrics, monetary policy and banking, and more.
